Haderslev Cathedral
In the older part of Haderslev the cathedral towers over the old houses on a small square in the fork between two old roads.

The cathedral is cruciform, something which is concealed to some extent by the chapels which through the ages have been added along the aisles. The transept (dating from c. 1250) is the oldest part of the present building, the nave is slightly more recent, and in about 1400 the high, Gothic chancel with three aisles supplanted an older chancel which had been built at the same time as the transept.
